SAN FRANCISCO, February 7, 2013—It’s with great excitement that we announce the upcoming family event, The Great Baby Romp—a unique and fresh occasion celebrating the energy and curiosity of babies and toddlers, creating lasting memories through shared experiences.
Today we announce the event’s headliner—the award winning and dynamic Kira Willey. Guaranteed to get you moving with her engaging yoga-inspired children’s music, Ms.Willey has won two Independent Music Awards as well as a Parents Choice award. In 2008, Dell featured her song Colors in a worldwide media campaign, launching her sweet and upbeat music into the spotlight.
A children’s yoga instructor and mother, Ms.Willey is thrilled to be a part of The Great Baby Romp. She teaches yoga in Bethelehem, PA at her studio, Fireflies Yoga, and is currently working on a lullaby album as well as a collection of family music to add to her already popular releases, Dance for the Sun: Yoga Songs For Kids (1997) and Kings & Queens of the Forest (2011). http://www.firefliesyoga.com
About THE GREAT BABY ROMP: Located at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center, The Great Baby Romp is an all day event featuring local enrichment classes, amazing amenities for babies and toddlers, and a lunchtime concert. Our mission is to provide parents with a competitive marketplace where they can select the best classes for their child's unique personality and temperament, and to provide small businesses throughout San Francisco a showcase for their programs.
We hope to connect parents and children from across San Francisco through music and laughter. Encouraging community through a sense of togetherness, we wish to make each baby and toddler's first years richer. In addition, we hope to encourage our local economy by providing exposure for small businesses.
