Presenters

What should my sample class be like?
We want you to present an edited version of one of your typical class offerings (or art projects). When you apply please include your vision as to what that might look like structured into a 15 minute block. For the Main Stage you can offer more of a presentation and less instruction if you choose (so it may be better suited for music and movement classes), but for the Showcase rooms we would prefer that you include and involve the parents and children.

I never see any new business from presenting at an event. What makes The Great Baby Romp different?
Unlike many events in San Francisco this is not a free or severely discounted event. Parents who register will be looking for activities for their baby or toddler plus the convenience of one-stop shopping. So come prepared to register people that day! We would also suggest you offer a free class available for use during the 2 weeks after the event so people can come visit your facility as well.

How long do I have to stay?
If you choose the Main Stage we request you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled performance time. There will be plenty of time built in for Q & A after your presentation as well.
If you choose the Showcase Rooms we request you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled class time. There will be a table outside the room where you can place any promotional items you may have. You will have 5 - 10 minutes in the classroom for set up so be ready! If you want more exposure we would suggest purchasing a vendor table space as well.

Dance. Sing. Learn. Grow.

San Francisco’s first conference just for babies, toddlers, and their parents! Classes, support, gear, and services all in one place and so much more!

Where will the event take place?
Mission Bay Conference Center on the UCSF campus
1675 Owens Street San Francisco CA 94158

What ages are the classes for?
The programs presented will be for children aged 3 months to 3 years.

Why is it just for babies and toddlers? Aren’t there a lot of classes out there for preschoolers?
Yes there are, but information about classes for older kids is more readily available once they are part of a preschool community. First time parents of babies and toddlers haven’t created this network yet. This event is a great way to discover all that San Francisco has to offer, and meet other parents as well!
